Chicken Livers Indonesian-Style

ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 pound chicken livers
1 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup almonds, ground
1 tablespoon lemon rind, grated
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
directions
Melt butter, add onion, garlic and chili powder, and saute 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add livers and saute for five minutes, until livers are cooked through, but still pink inside.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
