ingredients
1 cup flour, sifted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup mincemeat
1 tablespoon sour cream
VANILLA GLAZE
1 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons heavy cream
directions
Sift first 5 ingredients and set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, and combine mixtures.
Add mincemeat and cream, mixing by hand. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls in mounds onto ungreased cookie sheet, leaving 2" between mounds. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and frost with Vanilla Glaze while hot.
Vanilla Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, salt, vanilla extract, melted butter, and the 2 tablespoons heavy cream. Mix until smooth.
