This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

2 large Russet potatoes, scrubbed and cubed
6 tablespoons pure butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons cajun spice blend
4 cloves fresh minced garlic
6 dashes hot pepper sauce
diced green onion for garnish
Cook potatoes in boiling salted water just til a fork can be inserted.
Remove from pan with a spider or slotted spoon and place in skillet heated with half the butter. Stir gently to coat; turn down heat to medium low. Let potatoes caramelize (turning slightly brown) before turning or stirring. Stir gently several times.
Toss in garlic while heat is still low to avoid burning. Add remaining butter (optional). Add hot pepper sauce, cajun seasoning, stir gently. Let heat through and arrange on plate, garnish with green onion. DE-licious!
