This is a great go-to potato recipe to have handy. Potato wedges skillet-fried with onion, parsley, and garlic powder nail that crispy outside, soft inside balance. Foolproof side or snack with ketchup.

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 large new potatoes, cut into thin wedges
1/2 cup chopped onion
chopped fresh parsley, as desired
1 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
3/4 teaspoon black pepper
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the potatoes and onion. Sprinkle with the parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are browned and cooked.
Serve the garlic skillet potatoes hot.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

Lost my copy of this recipe. It's a staple in our house although sometimes I use other potatoes rather than the red ones.
