The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
1 package (11 ounce size) refrigerated plain breadstick dough
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
Line a 15x12-inch cookie sheet with alumnimum foil.
Unroll the breadstick dough onto the foil-lined pan. Cut dough into small squares, about 1-inch each, using a pizza cutter or knife; being careful not to cut through foil. Separate squares about 1/4-inch apart.
Combine the butter, Parmesan cheese, chili powder, red pepper and garlic salt in a small bowl. Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of the Parmesan mixture over each square using the back of the spoon to spread the mixture evenly. Sprinkle squares with cheddar cheese.
Bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown and crusty. Cool slightly on cookie sheet on a wire rack; serve warm.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
