The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.

recipe not specific enough and way too much sugar. question does this recipe need a water bath after putting in jar?

I just made this recipe. My mother canned it for years and always used it as a ham glaze, which was so good. Next time I will try cutting back on the sugar.

I just made this last night from a recipe my Grandmother gave me. What is the consistency supposed to be? Mine did not thicken very much.

Extremely good spice combination for the tomato and pineapple, but WAY too much sugar (extremely sweet when I think as it is a relish it should be more sweet/sour). I could cut the sugar by about half or so, and this would still be plenty sweet. I added more vinegar (but still pretty sweet) but will be great over cream cheese to serve with crackers.
