The fire and ice martini is made with fresh watermelon and spicy habanero peppers. With its light fruity flavor and fiery kick, it's the perfect drink for celebrating... well, anything!
1 ounce fresh watermelon, seeded and cubed
1/4 teaspoon seeded and minced habanero pepper
2 teaspoons sugar, or to taste
1 splash fresh lime juice
1/4 cup melon vodka
1/4 ounce watermelon brandy or whiskey
Combine the watermelon, habanero pepper, sugar, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker and muddle with a muddler or spoon. Add the vodka and brandy and a handful of ice. Shake well.
Strain the cocktail into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a small slice of watermelon, if desired.
