Persimmon Martini

ingredients
1 1/2 ounce vodka
1 1/2 ounce dark rum
1/2 ounce grapefruit juice
1 tablespoon chopped very ripe Hachiya persimmon flesh (see note)
1 dash cinnamon or nutmeg, for garnish
directions
Combine vodka, spiced rum, grapefruit juice and persimmon flesh in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a dash of cinnamon and/or nutmeg. Enjoy with sweet foods.
NOTE: The Hachiya persimmons are the ones with the pointy bottoms. They are ripe when jellylike.
