Chilaquiles Verdes Con Carne

ingredients
8 corn tortillas
vegetable oil, for frying
4 cups shredded, cooked beef
2 cups prepared salsa verde
1/2 cup crema mexicana or sour cream
1 cup grated queso asadero or Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup chopped, fresh cilantro
directions
Heat oven broiler to 550 degrees F.
Fry tortillas in oil until lightly browned and crisp. Drain on paper.
Using kitchen shears or a sharp knife, cut tortillas into 1-inch wide strips. Arrange strips in the bottom of a shallow baking dish. Cover with beef, salsa and sour cream. Sprinkle cheese over the top.
Broil until cheese melts and the rest of the dish ingredients have heated through. Sprinkle with cilantro before serving.
