Gourmet Slow Cooker Potatoes

ingredients
12 medium potatoes
1/4 cup margarine
2 cups cubed American cheese or velveeta
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
2 cups sour cream
1 small onion, chopped
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup milk
directions
Peel the potatoes and add to a large pan of cold water. Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Cook until the potatoes are just barely tender but not falling apart. Drain the potatoes and let cool slightly. When cool enough to handle, coarsely chop the potatoes.
In a bowl, gently mix together the potatoes and all remaining ingredients.
Lightly grease the inside of the crock pot. Transfer the potato mixture to the crock pot. Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 2 hours or until heated through.
Serve hot.
