ingredients
2 liters white rum
1 liter gin
1 liter rye
1 liter brandy
3 bottles Rose or Catawba wine
1/4 pound green tea, STEEPED OVERNIGHT IN
2 gallons cold water, and strained
2 cups maraschino cherries, drained
1/2 pound pineapple chunks (fresh are best)
2 1/2 cups light brown sugar
9 lemons, juiced
Champagne
directions
Start two weeks in advance. Mix all ingredients except champagne in a clean container with a lid, and store in a cool place.
Serve in a punch bowl with a large block of ice and add champagne to taste.
