Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Not sure what others are doing wrong. This is a classic hot chocolate recipe. Maybe they aren't using the right chocolate? I've made this many times and it's quite good. It's what I know as hot chocolate from scratch - like my mom made when I was a kid.

This just doesn't work well. Its like chocolate suspension. If a double boiler is supposed to be used, say so in the first sentence.
No, you do not use a double boiler. The chocolate is blended with the water in the first step.

It was ok but bland. I added 1tsp. almond extract, 1tsp. vanilla extract, and 1/4c. sugar and it tasted great that way (I also used skim milk).
