Bubble Paint

ingredients
2 teaspoons dishwashing liquid
3 tablespoons water
1/4 cup powdered tempera paint
jelly jar with lid
drinking straw or bubble pipe
directions
With spoon, blend dish washing liquid, the water and paint in jar. Place lid on jar and shake to mix. Add more paint to deepen color if desired.
Set jar on newspaper and blow through straw to create enough bubbles to overflow jar.
Or, pour small amount of mixture into pipe and blow bubbles from pipe onto white paper. Remove jar and gently lay a piece of white paper on top of bubbles, which will leave rings on paper as they burst. Turn white paper over and let dry. Or skip that, and simply let dry.
