The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Are you looking for an easy sensory activity for your kids? Magic muck is the perfect solution! This slime-like substance is safe and non-toxic, making it ideal for kids of all ages.

1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup water
5 drops food coloring, any color or combination of colors
add-ins such as glitter, beads, sequins, etc
Mix the cornstarch, water, food coloring, and any additional add-ins in a glass bowl (or other material that won't stain from the food coloring).
Store the muck in an airtight container.
Do not use add-ins with small children as they could be a choking hazard if the muck is accidentally consumed.

Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

I've been making this for over a decade now for various kids I babysit. It takes seconds to make, and is truly magical (solid? liquid? try it and you will see...)
