Campfire Dutch Oven Potatoes

ingredients
30 golf-ball size new red potatoes
1 medium onion
1/4 cup butter
1 package dry ranch salad dressing mix
non-stick cooking spray
directions
Spray Dutch oven with cooking spray. Wash potatoes, but do not peel.
Cut potatoes in half and place in bottom of Dutch oven. Chop onion and place on top of potatoes. Place chunks of butter on top of potatoes and onions. Sprinkle Ranch mix over all.
Bake on hot coals for 30 to 45 minutes.

Thank you smox1. I was looking for something different to do with my potatoes. This is a great and easy recipe. I cooked them in a dutch oven in the oven. I cooked for 30 min. covered and uncovered for about 20 min. more. They got crispy and were delicious. Thanks, Karen
