ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 cup brown sugar, divided
1 jar salsa, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon basil
olive oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon minced onion
directions
Mix beef, eggs, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup salsa, salt, pepper, basil, onion and garlic. Use small cookie or melon baller to scoop small amounts of beef mix and roll in hands to make uniform in size. Do this until all mix is used.
Heat a skillet on stove top or electric skillet could also be used (250-300 Degrees F). Drizzle a little olive oil in pan on medium heat. Add the rest of salsa from jar and brown sugar. Stir until well blended while continuing on medium heat. Add small meatballs gently to sauce pan and cover. Cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes and until centers are completely cooked.

What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!
