Chafing Dish Meatballs

ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 large onion, grated
salt, to taste
1 bottle chili sauce
1/2 large jar grape jelly
1 lemon, juiced
2 pounds wieners, cut in 1/2-inch diagonal slices
directions
Combine ground chuck, egg, onion and salt. Mix and shape into 50 small meatballs.
Make a sauce of the chili sauce, jelly and lemon juice. Drop the meatballs into the hot sauce and simmer until meatballs are brown. Add sliced wieners. Cool and freeze.
To serve: Defrost and reheat slowly. Serve from chafing dish with cocktail pickles.
