ingredients
1 large cantaloupe or honeydew melon or a combination
12 maraschino cherries, stems removed
1/4 cup tightly packed mint leaves
2 tablespoons grenadine syrup
2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
8 ice cubes
1/2 cup ice water
directions
Peel, seed and cut the melon into large chunks. Chill.
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately, as the cooler will separate upon standing.
