ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup icing sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup chopped candied cherries (red and green)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
directions
Combine the flour, cornstarch, icing sugar.
With large spoon, blend in butter. Mix in nuts and cherries. Work in with hands until soft dough forms. Shape dough into smooth roll, 1-1/2 inch diameter. Wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for 4 hours. Cut into cookies.
Put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 8-12 minutes, until edges lightly brown.
