Chicken doesn't get much easier than this. Garlic and vinegar give the chicken a bit of flavor and the olive oil makes the skin deliciously crispy.
1 (4-6 pound size) whole chicken
1/4 cup white or apple cider vinegar
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut the chicken into serving pieces. Place the chicken pieces in a single layer in a baking dish. Drizzle the chicken evenly with the vinegar, sprinkle with the minced garlic, and then drizzle the olive oil over all. Season as desired with salt and pepper.
Place the chicken in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crisp.
Serve hot.
