1 (4-6 pound size) whole chicken 1/4 cup white or apple cider vinegar 5 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup olive oil salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut the chicken into serving pieces. Place the chicken pieces in a single layer in a baking dish. Drizzle the chicken evenly with the vinegar, sprinkle with the minced garlic, and then drizzle the olive oil over all. Season as desired with salt and pepper.
Place the chicken in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crisp.
Serve hot.

Yummy, my grandma used to bake it this same way when I was a girl more than 50 yrs ago, oh happy day!!
