Chocolate Cheesecake Muffins

ingredients
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup water
1/3 cup oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1 package (6 ounce size) chocolate chips
directions
Mix together the first four ingredients, then add the next four ingredients. Blend together and fill muffin cups 1/2 full with this batter.
Cream together cream cheese, egg, and sugar. Top batter with creamed mixture.
Divide package of chocolate chips and sprinkle on top of the muffins. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 30 minutes.

These were not good at all. The chocolate part was not sweet at all and overall they were very disappointing. Not sure why they didn't taste sweet, but they definitely didn't.
What kind of cocoa powder did you use? I can't imagine this wouldn't be sweet.

These muffins are AWESOME! They're more like cupcakes than muffins, but they are well worth making.
