12 cooking apples
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 medium onions
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 pint pure malt vinegar
1 teaspoon ground cloves
6 ounces castor sugar
directions
Peel, quarter, and core apples. Peal and dice onions. Place in saucepan with sufficient water to cover and cook gently till soft.
Rub through sieve. Add other ingredients to this pulp. Simmer gently for 1 hour.
Bottle while hot. Seal when cold.
