What do you get when you combine Kahlua, brandy, rum, coffee, bacon, sausage, and baked beans? Deliciousness. Pure, deliciousness.

4 cans (1 pound size) baked beans
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 cup chili sauce or tomato sauce
1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
1/4 cup Kahula
1/4 cup brandy
1/4 cup rum
1 onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1 pound sausage, cooked and sliced (optional)
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F.
Place the beans in a large bowl. Combine the mustard, chili sauce, coffee, Kahlua, brandy, and rum in another bowl or measuring cup. Mix well.
Slowly stir the Kahlua mixture into the beans and stir until incorporated. Stir in the onion, bacon, and sausage.
Transfer the beans to a large baking dish. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 200 degrees F for 2 hours or until heated through. The low temperature and long cook time will meld the flavors better but the beans can also be cooked, covered with foil, at 300 degrees F for 1 hour.

This is one of the best baked beans recipes I've tried. The Kahlua-brandy-coffee flavors are subtle, it's really more of a rich bbq flavor.

"Amazing" isn't a word I'd normally think to use when describing baked beans, but this recipe was... well, amazing! It sounds like it's going to be very boozy but it has a wonderful smoky flavor.
