The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 can (32 ounce size) black beans or kidney beans, rinsed
1 can (12 ounce size) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (4 ounce size) chopped green chilies, drained
OR
1 large jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Garnish
red bell pepper rings
fresh cilantro sprigs
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a 1-1/2 qt casserole, combine honey, ketchup, vinegar, chili powder, salt, beans, corn, green chilies, onion, and cilantro.
Cover and bake 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Arrange bell pepper rings over top, cover and continue baking 15 minutes.
Garnish with cilantro sprigs.
