over 5 hrs
ingredients
1/2 pound bacon, diced
1 can (15 ounce size) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (16 ounce size) pork and beans
1 can (15 ounce size) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounce size) lima beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounce size) butter beans, rinsed and drained
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
directions
Place the bacon in a skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until the bacon is cooked but not crisp. Drain the bacon well and place on paper toweling to drain off excess grease.
Combine all the beans, bacon, and remaining ingredients in the crock pot. Mix well.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours or until heated through. Stir it once or twice during the cooking time if possible.
Stir well before serving.

Nutritional data has not been calculated yet.Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
