ingredients
3 tablespoons sofrito
1 packet sazon seasoning
1 teaspoon adobo seasoning
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
30 ounces water
1 can (15 ounce size) black beans, drained (or whatever beans you prefer)
2 cups long grain rice
directions
Combine sofrito, sazon, and adobo in a large saucepan. Add sauce and water, and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Once boiling, add beans, and bring back to a boil.
Add rice, bring to a boil, cover and lower heat. Cook for an additional 20-25 minutes, stirring every 5-10 minutes until rice is tender.
Remove from heat, and allow to cool slightly. Serve and enjoy!
