1 cup finely chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup wine vinegar
1 bottle (32 oz size) bottle ketchup

Combine the sauteed vegetables, lemon juice, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, ketchup, and mustard. Add salt and pepper as desired.
Place the ribs in the crockpot. Pour the sauce over the ribs, turning the ribs to coat them completely in the sauce.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
