ingredients
1 pound lean pork
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash ground black pepper
1/2 cup chicken bouillon
3 cups thinly sliced onions
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/4 cup water
crispy fried chow mein noodles
directions
Cut the pork into 1/2-inch chunks. Heat oil in a heavy 10-inch skillet or wok.
Add pork, salt and pepper. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until meat is brown. Add bouillon and onions. Cover, reduce heat to low and cook for 10 minutes.
Stir together cornstarch, soy sauce and water. Add to the pan; cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and the mixture is hot.
Serve immediately over crispy noodles.
