Apricot Chicken With Noodles

ingredients
4 chicken breast halves, skinned
1/4 cup butter, melted, PLUS"PLUS" means this ingredient in addition to the one on the next line, often with divided uses
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup apricot preserves
10 ounces egg noodles
2 tablespoons sliced, toasted almonds (optional)
directions
Place chicken skin side up in 8-inch by 8-inch baking dish. Pour 1/4 cup melted butter over top. Bake in a 375 degrees F oven for 25 minutes, basting once.
Combine mustard, sour cream and apricot preserves. Mix well to blend. Remove chicken from oven and pour sauce over top. Bake for 25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
Meanwhile, cook noodles, drain and toss with remaining 1 tablespoon butter. Place noodles on serving plate and top with chicken.
For a special dinner, garnish with 2 tablespoons sliced, toasted almonds.
