2 pounds ground sirloin or lean ground pork, cooked & drained
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 teaspoons chili powder
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup sour cream, PLUS"PLUS" means this ingredient in addition to the one on the next line, often with divided uses
1 tablespoon sour cream
1 egg white, beaten stiff

directions

Place meat, onion, pepper, sauce, garlic and chili powder in skillet. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Spray 8" x 8" pan with Pam (or grease). Put meat mixture in pan.

Beat together cheese, sour cream and egg white and put on top of meat mixture. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.

    I made as written. Taste was OK but it was dry. Basically cheese topped meat. Next day I scrapped off the cheese and used meat in spaghetti. That was good.
