1 pound torsk or cod fillets
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Parsley Butter (Optional)
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon red pepper sauce
Lemon Butter (Optional)
1/4 cup margarine or butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon lemon pepper, if desired
directions
If fish fillets are large, cut into serving pieces. Heat 1-1/2 inches water, the sugar and salt to boiling in 10" skillet; reduce heat.
Arrange the fish in single layer in skillet. Simmer uncovered 4-6 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. Serve with Parsley Butter, or Lemon Butter if you prefer.
