12 fresh-caught crappie, rinsed under cold water and patted dry
2 lemons, cut into wedges
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
cooking oil, for frying fish
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Season fish with salt and pepper, then dredge in a mix of flour and cornmeal.
In large cast iron skillet, fry fish in cooking oil, until brown (about 10 minutes, each side). Serve hot.
