- #18474
1-2 hrs
ingredients
2 pounds red snapper fillets
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons grapefruit juice, fresh squeezed
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh squeezed
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
salt, to taste
fresh parsley, chopped, as a garnish
directions
Combine all ingredients except fish and parsley to make marinade; allow red snapper fillets to marinate in sauce (30-60 minutes) in refrigerator.
Remove fish from marinade and place on a lightly oiled barbecue grill and cook (10 minutes, per inch of thickness of fish), or until the flesh is opaque, brushing frequently with spicy citrus sauce. Serve hot, right from the barbecue.
