Beef Liver with Onion Gravy

ingredients
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup flour (for flouring liver)
4 slices liver
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons oil
directions
Coat liver in flour and sear in a skillet with oil, browning on both sides quickly. Add onion soup mix and enough water to cover liver and cook until tender.
Remove liver from pan and make gravy, return liver to pan to coat with gravy. Serve with boiled potatoes.

How do you make the gravy? It just says make gravy but not how to do it. I would love to try this but need better directions. Thanks.
Simply thicken the liquid as you would for any gravy (using flour or cornstarch or your favorite thickening agent). All of the other gravy ingredients are already there, you just need to thicken it.
