The added richness of instant coffee makes this gravy a decadent topping for meatloaf, turkey, or mashed potatoes. No flour, so it's gluten-free too.
1 2/3 cup cornstarch
6 tablespoons low sodium beef bouillon granules
4 teaspoons instant coffee granules
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Stir together the cornstarch, bouillon granules, coffee granules, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well. Place in an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 3 months.
To make gravy, whisk together 3 tablespoons of the gravy mix and 1 1/2 cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Let simmer for one minute or until thickened.

I had some drippings from a corned beef I had braised. I added this mix, and made a wonderful, dark, Rich, thick gravy. Best gravy I ever made, and extremely easy!

definitely a winner here. i cut the recipe in half as i didn't want that much in case it turned out bad and it wasn't. i didn't have the instant coffee granules and i forgot to cut the garlic pepper and paprika in half. might say add less bouillon because it came out super dark. i have a feeling the next time i make it it will be much better. might just have to try adding the coffee and see what it does to the flavor:D best gluten free gravy mix so far:D
