peppers, washed and dried
directions
This method can be used for any kinds of peppers (hot, bell, jalapeno, etc)
For bell or large peppers, slice in strips.
For jalapeno or other small hot peppers: If you like extra heat, do not slice. If you want more mild peppers, slice and remove seeds.
Place peppers on baking sheet - do not crowd. Place in oven at 200 degrees F. It can take up to 12-18 hours to dehydrate sometimes. Check every 6 hrs or so.
When dried, you can crumble them into jars. For decorative mixes, combine red and green bell peppers in jars.
To use, for bell peppers, just add to a little hot water to rehydrate (1 tbsp). For hot peppers, simply sprinkle on to food while cooking.

This sounds good but the hours in the oven, a bit too much! 12 hours(The bill for that time). Maybe a higher oven temp and less cook time. I would like to just eat the peppers from the jar, don't know what recipe for that, but I've seen that on one of the cooking shows. Thanks, Frenchie
