Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

This is a very easy recipe, and very tasty. I made it last summer for a family picnic and everyone loved it. My college age nephew even asked me for the recipe (although I am pretty sure he never actually made it!). I just made it again tonight for a graduation party tomorrow. The harderst part is picking and cutting the rhubarb.
