I lived in New Mexico for 5 years in my early 20s, my boyfriend's Nana made the BEST sweet chile rellenos, a recipe I've been trying to find for years, without a proper title and this is it!!! The only thing that will make it more authentic is separate the egg, beat the egg white, carefully fold in the yolk, then dip your rellenos in this mixture before frying...no egg bath, no flour. Great recipe either way you make them though!
