ingredients
4 egg yolks
1 cup hot milk (whole milk)
1 3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups cold milk
2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
directions
Beat the yolks and sugar. Add hot milk and salt. Cook this over low heat until it thickens a bit. Add cold milk and coconut milk.
Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer's directions, or as they do in Puerto Rico, freeze in a bowl or ice cube trays.
