Skillet Chicken, Sausage, And Rice

ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, chopped
1 large Italian sausage links, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 dash black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 can chicken broth
2 cups rice
directions
Add oil to large fry pan. Brown chicken, sausage, onion and green pepper. Add garlic salt, pepper and paprika. Measure chicken broth and add water to make 3 3/4 cups.
Pour into frying pan with chicken, bring to boil. Add rice, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice has absorbed the liquid.

I stumbled upon this receipe when I typed in "chicken and sausage recipe" in Google at the very last minute before starting to cook. It has simple, straightforward ingredients, so I said what the heck? Fabulous! I love that it's all cooked in one pot, makes a huge amount of food, and the result is tasty! Being from Louisiana, I added Tony Chachere's to the chicken while it cooked, but other than that, I didn't alter the recipe. Thank you for sharing this with everyone!
