ingredients
6 cups chopped, cooked chicken
1/4 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/3 cup flour
2 cups milk
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 eggs
directions
Brown the onion in butter and stir in the flour, salt, and pepper. Pour in the milk and cook until kind of bubbly. Remove from heat and mix with the chopped chicken in a shallow bowl. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight.
Remove from the refrigerator and shape into patties. Beat eggs and dip patties in the eggs. Chill for 15 minutes and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
