Easy Cherry or Peach Slow Cooker Cobbler

ingredients
1 can (16 ounce size) cherry, apple or peach pie filling
1 package Jiffy cake mix for single layer cake
1 egg
3 tablespoons evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, optional
directions
Grease the bottom and sides of a 3-4 quart crock pot.
Pour the pie filling in the bottom of the crock pot. Cover and cook on high for 30-45 minutes or until the filling is very hot.
In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, egg, milk, cinnamon, and nuts until blended. Pour over the hot pie filling.
Reduce the crock pot heat to low. Cover and cook for 2-3 hours on low temperature or until the cake batter is cooked.
To serve, scoop the mixture into serving bowls and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
