tools needed

Crockpot: This is the key tool needed to cook the green beans and tomatoes slowly until they are tender. If you don't have a crockpot, a large pot on the stove on low heat can be used as an alternative.

Knife: Used for trimming the ends of the green beans, cutting them into 1-inch pieces, crushing the garlic, and chopping the onion.

Cutting Board: Protect your countertops while cutting the green beans, garlic, and onion into smaller pieces.

Measuring Spoons: For measuring the garlic, dried rosemary, dried oregano, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Can Opener: To open the can of diced tomatoes.

Stirring Spoon: For mixing together all of the ingredients in the crockpot.

what goes with it?

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken: the bright flavors of the lemon and herbs in the chicken will complement the freshness of the green beans and tomatoes.

Chili-Lime Shrimp Skewers: the zesty, spicy shrimp will add a kick to the mellow flavors of the green beans and tomatoes.

Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese: the smoky, cheesy mac and cheese will offer a decadent and indulgent contrast to the green beans and tomatoes.

Grilled Salmon: Serve these green beans and tomatoes alongside a perfectly grilled salmon fillet.

Herb-Roasted Pork Tenderloin: Pair these green beans and tomatoes with a herb-roasted pork tenderloin. The acidity of the tomatoes will help cut through the richness of the pork, balancing out the flavors.
