1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 can (3.5 ounce size) flaked coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

directions

Bring margarine, sugar, milk and coconut to a boil in a saucepan.

Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add vanilla and pour on hot cake.
