    I was looking for a dump salad recipe, and found this. I have a recipe that calls for cottage cheese, pineapple, cool whip, and lemon gelatin. I agree there is no "real" recipe for this. It is what you choose to put in it.

    This is not the real dump salad the real dump salad recipe calls for 1 can pinapple chunks, 1 can cherry pie filling, 1 cup of crushed pecans, 1 can condensed milk, and 1 large container of cool whip.

    • We find it hard to believe that there is any "real" recipe called Dump Salad... and that it'd be as strict to have only a certain set of ingredients. Score changed from "1" to "comment only" since this was not a valid review of the recipe.
