Cranberry Whipped Cream Salad

ingredients
1 package (16 ounce size) fresh cranberries, picked and ground
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup Tokay grapes, seeded and quartered
1/4 cup broken walnuts
2 cups whipped cream or Cool Whip
1 cup miniature marshmallows (optional)
directions
Mix cranberries and sugar together and let stand over night. In the morning, add the remaining ingredients and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.

i made mine with crushed pineapple (drained) no grapes or nuts . our favorite.

This is a quick and easy recipe to make. I have made this for the last several years without the grapes. My family tends to like this a a little flozen too. A must for your holiday table!

We have this Salad we call Pink Stuff every Christmas and Thanksgiving in my family. It is a tradition. We LOVE it! We use only 1 cup of sugar per bag of cranberries though and we do NOT use marshmallows in it. This is a fabulous cranberry salad. Also, the less sugar you put in the more "tart" the salad is...I never use a full cup of sugar because i prefer it more tart.
