- #14448
ingredients
1 pound fettuccine pasta
4 cups diced chicken
1 medium onion
6 cloves garlic
2 sticks butter or margarine
1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 cup green onions
1 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
3 cups whipping cream
1 pound cooked bacon, crumbled
salt and black pepper, to taste
garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper to taste
directions
Cook the pasta in a large pot of water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat half of the butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken, onion, and garlic and saute until the onions are soft and translucent and chicken is cooked.
Add seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne) and Tabasco. Let cook for 5 more minutes.
Remove chicken with a slotted spoon and place in bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside.
Add the green onions, Parmesan, and whipping cream to the pan and let simmer for 15 minutes or until the sauce is thickened.
To serve, add the bacon to the sauce. Place individual servings of pasta in bowls and top with chicken. Pour sauce over all. Serve with additional crumbled bacon if desired.

It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

This is so good but so not diet friendly. I make this as comfort food (you know, when I'm breaking my diet LOLOLOL!)
