3/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chopped cherries
1/2 cup chopped coconut
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Cream shortening, sugar and egg until light and fluffy. Stir in the rest of the ingredients.
Drop on greased pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
