ingredients
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 can (6 ounce size) evaporated milk
1 package (4 ounce size) instant butterscotch pudding mix
3 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
directions
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk. Bring to rolling boil, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat and slowly add pudding mix (to avoid lumps) and oats. Mix thoroughly. Cool 15 minutes.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a waxed paper lined tray.
