Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

My 5 year old likes these but my 2 year old,my husband and myself didn't. They were very very dry. No flavor really. Kind of like rubber. I may have over mixed the dough, I know that can cause the rubber like texture. Needs more liquid of some kind.
